Peter J. Babos is a Los Angeles native. He graduated from U.C.L.A. and attended Southwestern University School of Law. He has been a practicing attorney since 1988. Mr. Babos specializes in the areas of real estate, business, corporate, family law, entertainment, intellectual property, and probate law. His experience includes practice in both state and federal court, as well as experience in cases on the appellate level for each jurisdiction.

As a Los Angeles native practicing law for over 25 years, and a real estate broker for over 35 years, Mr. Babos has a unique understanding of the crossover in business, real estate, and family law, and the inter-related issues among these areas that arise especially in the L.A. metropolis.

Before becoming an attorney Mr. Babos was actively engaged as a local real estate agent for Fred Sand Realtors, which was the largest national independent real estate brokerage firm before being bought by Coldwell Banker. He has also acted as a mortgage broker handling both residential and commercial loan transactions. He currently maintains his brokerage license and operates his own real estate brokerage and investment firm named Park Place Properties.

In 2013, Mr. Babos co-found a private mediation organization named CEDRS – Center for Effective Dispute Resolution Services, which provides attorneys and the general public a panel of qualified mediators to resolve litigation and non-litigation legal disputes. As part of this organization, he and his partner act as co-mediators focusing their efforts to resolve disputes in divorce and family law. CEDRS has offices both in Los Angeles and Riverside, and is an affiliate of the Inland Empire Law Center.
